Hawaii beach wedding - Florals and Decor

There are lots of options on how you can personalize your Paradise Cove wedding. Please take some time to look over this page in detail before filling out the “Florals & Decor Questionnaire”. Also, don’t worry about completing this step until your planner has asked you to.

Options to Personalize your simple hawaii beach wedding Ceremony …

The things we already do:

  1. Natural Vine Aisle. We hand pick greenery on the morning of your wedding day and will set it up so that it creates a really pretty natural aisle.

  2. Best Day Ever Sign. We always bring our Best Day Ever sign and our Ceremony sign. Depending on the beach location we will usually use one or both of these signs near your ceremony.

  3. Bride & Grooms Leis (are included)

  4. Rose Petals for a Flower Shower after the ceremony (is included).

  5. We also have 2 small flower girl baskets and 1 ring pillow available upon request at no additional charge. You must request these items ahead of time. If you’d like to get your own flower girl baskets or ring pillows we suggest checking out Etsy.

Things to consider adding on:

1. Aisle Flowers - Adding in some bright colored florals in the aisle can be really pretty way to bring in a little extra decor. We can do hibiscus florals, white orchids or purple orchids. We will strategically place the orchids on into the green aisle to add a little color to your isle.

2. Add a bridal Bouquet or a grooms Boutonniere. A bridal bouquet and bouquets for her bridesmaids plus boutonnieres for all the men is a really pretty way to dress up your wedding ceremony. We can have our florist design the bouquet to match any inspiration photo. Prices will vary depending on the type of florals, size and design. We will get you a custom quote.

3. Add a Haku Lei for the bride, bridesmaids and flower girls. A Haku Lei is a handmade floral head lei designed by the florist to match the bouquet(s). See sample photos below for inspiration. Cost will vary depending on the size, type of florals and design.

4. Wrist Corsages for moms and grandmothers. A wrist corsage is a custom floral piece designed to tie onto the wrist with a ribbon. Mothers and grandmothers usually love these. I don’t have any sample photos but they’re really pretty and designed to match the bridal bouquet.

5. The Flower Circle. Since we are not legally allowed to altars and arches at Hawaii beaches we have found another way to fancy up the altar with flowers. The Flower Circle is a large altar made up of bright Hawaiian flowers. The bride, groom and officiant will stand in the circle during the ceremony and the guests will stand around it. This is a fun option to bring a little color into the ceremony site and make the space feel more intimate. Pricing varies, and will be given per quote based on floral availability and cost at the time of ordering.

6. Extra Rose Petals. If you’d like a more full or longer flower shower, you can add in an extra bag of rose petals to your flower order. Price is $20/bag. Your package already comes with one bag.

* Please fill out the Floral Decor Questionnaire form below if you are interested in adding any additional wedding florals and we can get you a custom quote. You will want to do this at least a few months prior to your wedding day because the florist does book up quickly. Once the form is filled out and submitted we will work with the florist to negotiate pricing on your behalf and get you a custom quote. You can decide what you do and if you’d like to move forward with the floral items requested after you’ve received the custom quote and have had a chance to review it. We will pick up, drop off and set up everything for you.

The Flower Circle

Here is a sample flower circle we did. It is generally made up of large palms, antheriums, bird of paradise, and other sturdy larger Hawaiian flowers. It is a little hard to tell from the photo but it’s pretty large. It will be set up at the altar and the bride, groom and officiant will stand in it during the ceremony. Pricing will vary depending on the pricing of florals at the time of your ceremony.

Aisle Flowers

Another fun way to personalize your wedding ceremony is to add some florals to create an aisle. We can do a white or purple floral scatter to create an aisle way for $200 or add fresh large hibiscus flowers to the aisle for an additional $100. Florals are picked fresh on the morning of your wedding and set up for you before you walk down the aisle. We will also pick up the florals at the end of the ceremony to dispose of them for you. The orchids are usually placed into the green vine aisle and spill out over the edges to create a very full orchid path. They can also be loosely scattered into the center of the aisle if you would prefer (please request this). The yellow hibiscus flower is placed spaced out on the green aisle.

Rose Petal Flower Shower (after you say “I do”) we will do a flower shower, petals included in your wedding package. We use a mix of bright petals (this looks best against the white sand and turquoise water. All white petals is hard to see in photos. Add in an extra bag of petals upon request.

Grooms boutonniere, pinned from behind onto the suit jacket. The boutonnieres work best when pinned into a thicker fabric like a jacket (loose fitting fabrics like an Aloha shirt) do not hold a boutonniere up well. Boutonnieres are designed to match the bridal bouquet and are about $20 each.

The classic bridal bouquet, this bouquet would be more of a standard size and about $300.

Bride & bridesmaids bouquets (these bouquets use Protea florals and are larger so they would be more expensive $300-$350)
