paradise cove - Florals and Decor

There are lots of options on how you can personalize your Paradise Cove wedding. Please take some time to look over this page in detail before filling out the “Florals & Decor Questionnaire”. Also, don’t worry about completing this step until your planner has asked you to.

Options to Personalize your paradise cove wedding Ceremony …

1.   Wooden White Chairs for guests are an optional upgrade. Your package automatically comes with white plastic chairs (this is included in the package) but if you’d like to upgrade to the nicer wooden chairs the cost is $8.50 per chair.

2.   Add a Bamboo Floral Wedding Arbor
- You can choose to add in a bamboo wedding Arbor (with fabric draping) and florals (arch: $300, florals are custom and per quote)
- Florals for Arch (2 large corner floral pieces to match bouquet, or large floral arrangement across the top)
- Cost will vary depending on the look you are going for. It is helpful to find photos that you like and send your planner a link. She will help you create a beautiful ceremony arch with the florist. Set-up and delivery is included.

3. Add Aisle Flowers:
- Small clusters of florals can be added to the chairs that line the aisle (usually this is 4-8 small clusters designed to match your theme and colors. Aisle florals can be on hooks or tied to chairs.
- Set-up and delivery included. Cost varies depending on qty. and style. Ask florist to match your bouquet :)
Note: All flowers yours to keep (you can use these to decorate the dinner location or your room, OR give to guests/parents (arch florals, aisle florals)

4.  Add a Full or Half White Orchid Scatter into your wedding aisle:
- Cover your aisle in a full scatter of white orchids for $250 / or a half scatter (this just means there are less blooms) for $150

5. Add a Bouquet & Boutonnieres. A bridal bouquet and bouquets for her bridesmaids plus boutonnieres for all the men is a pretty way to dress up your wedding ceremony. We can have our florist design the bouquet to match any inspiration photo. Prices will vary depending on the type of florals, size and design. We will get you a custom quote.

6. Add a Haku Lei for the bride, bridesmaids and flower girls - or just the bride! A Haku Lei is a handmade floral head lei designed by the florist to match the bouquet(s). See sample photos below for inspiration. Cost will vary depending on the size, type of florals and design.

7. Wrist Corsages for moms and grandmothers. A wrist corsage is a custom floral piece designed to tie onto the wrist with a ribbon. Mothers and grandmothers usually love these. I don’t have any sample photos but they’re really pretty and designed to match the bridal bouquet.

8. Tossing Petals. Your wedding package already comes with one bag of tossing petals these are used to toss in the air after you say “I do” and look really pretty in photos. They are also a lot of fun. You can add in extra tossing petals for $25/bag.

* Please fill out the Floral Decor Questionnaire form below if you are interested in adding any additional wedding florals because the florist does book up quickly. Once the form is filled out and submitted we will work with the florist to get you a custom quote. You can decide what you do and do not want once you receive the custom floral quote.

** Already included (at no cost) are the white plastic chairs for all guests, and one 6-foot table which will be set up off to the side as a water station for guests. Water, ice and cups are included as well.

Paradise cove florals and decor - Photos & Ideas

Chair Upgrade: White Wooden Chair ($8.50/chair)

These are the standard plastic white chairs, they come with the package, no extra charge. This couple decided to add on purple floral leis for all guests which we draped over the chairs.

Simple Set up - This couple decided to do the wooden chairs for all guests, the bamboo arch with white fabric draping and two small floral accent pieces. Sample pricing: $8/chair, $250 arch, $150 fabric draping and small floral pieces + setup/breakdown fee

Floral circle

Floral Circle Sample - it looks a little different on the grass and we’d try to use more colorful florals in the grassy area. A floral circle is a good alternative to the bamboo arch if you still want something special at the wedding altar but have a tighter budget.

Floral altar ideas & aisle flowers

Some close up samples of an actual floral altar set up at Paradise Cove. This is the location where the ceremony is usually held and shows you how it would look if you were to add in a floral altar and chairs. This couple also did white orchid leis for all guests. The leis were draped over the ceremony chairs.

Sample Wedding Arch with Florals (close-up of the floral arrangement). Florals are designed custom to match your bouquet. This couple decided to do a simple two floral pieces on the corners of the arch and fabric draping. Prices are custom based on the look and design you are wanting.

Simple set up at Paradise Cove “The Point”

This was the bouquet inspiration for the simple altar florals above. The altar florals uses the same look and feel but less pinks (less peonies and roses), and more of the larger white hydrangea florals to create a more full look under a tighter budget. If you send us some inspiration photos, we’ll help you to figure out a custom design and quote.

Mini Aisle Flowers

This is another way to personalize your wedding. This is a sweet way to add some florals to the ceremony (that is also cost-effective). Aisle Flowers are tied to hooks along the aisle or on the sides of chairs. We suggest doing a minimum of 6 aisle flowers, 3 on each side of the aisle. You may add more if you’d like. Pricing will vary depending on the style and type of flowers you choose. If you have a larger guest count and at least 3 rows of chairs, this is an option to consider.

Floral arches are set up right before your wedding by a professional floral designer. He will carry in in the wood and secure into the sand. He will set up and drape the fabric of choice and add in the floral arrangements to the corners of the arch securely. After the ceremony you may take the florals with you or if you do not want them we do donate flowers to the Senior Care Homes around Honolulu. You can read more about that service here.

We always bring our Best Day Ever sign and will place it on the side of the ceremony, guests will see it as they walk in.

Here is another sample of a fuller floral piece that stretches across the entire top of the wedding altar. This bride wanted the dark pinks and plum colors in her altar and bridesmaids bouquets but wanted her bouquet to be all white. This altar would cost a bit more than the one with just the florals in the two corners.

Bouquet, Boutonnieres, haku leis

Bridal bouquet with matching boutonniere. This is a larger bouquet and would be closer to $250-$350 range.

Bridal bouquet, matching haku head lei (both of these are add-ons). The groom is wearing the classic maile lei with pikake wrap (this is included in your wedding package - no extra charge).

Matching mom and daughter haku leis - haku leis are great for flower girls!

Large bridal bouquet with matching haku (this bouquet uses Protea florals and is on the larger size so it would be closer to $300)

Hawaii tropical bouquet

The petal toss! A fun way to celebrate after you say “i do”. Your package already comes with one bag of rose petals. If you’d like to add in extra petals please let us know. This photo shows three bags of petals. The couple also used the petals for the flower girls to toss as they walked down the aisle.

Grooms boutonniere, pinned from behind onto the suit jacket. The boutonnieres work best when pinned into a thicker fabric like a jacket (loose fitting fabrics like an Aloha shirt) do not hold a boutonniere up well. Boutonnieres are designed to match the bridal bouquet and are about $20 each.

The classic bridal bouquet, this bouquet would be more of a standard size and about $250.

The classic haku leis with a tropical floral mix

Bride & bridesmaids bouquets (these bouquets use Protea florals and are larger so they would be more expensive $250-$300)

All white classic bridal bouquet

Tropical bouquet with matching haku lei

Petals come in a multi-color and may be mixed colors of pinks, reds, whites, sometimes peaches and yellows. If you prefer all white or all pink let us know and we can see what we can do, there may be an additional cost. All petals must be picked up after the toss and we handle this for you.
