H A I R - & - M A K E U P - Bride opted for a more natural make-up style and we arranged for the talented Leslie Fair to take care of Ikuyo on her special day. Hair and make-up was done in the bridal suite.

G U E S T C O U N T - 18 guests - intimate family and close friends only, many who flew in from Japan

C E R E M O N Y + R E C E P T I O N - The couple opted for a simple ocean-front ceremony at Paradise Cove. They got ready a 5-star hotel in the Ko’olina area. Ko’olina is beautiful secluded Hawaii oasis located on the west-coast of O’ahu. It is what you imagine to see on a postcard of Hawai‘i. The perfect location for the couple and their guests, most of whom were first-time Hawai‘i visitors. The couple chose to have a traditional Hawaiian ceremony with cultural Japanese traditions intertwined. They took the guests out to a Hawaiian luau after the ceremony, complete with mai-tais for guests, a fire show and they added in a traditional cake ceremony at the luau -just for fun!

O F F I C I A N T - We chose Kahu Bruce for Ikuyo and Shane as he was able to provide both the traditional Hawaiian ceremony they wanted while weaving in the brides Japanese cultural traditions as well. Kahu was also able to translate the ceremony in Japanese, keeping the brides family involved and connected throughout the emotional ceremony.. After the ceremony the bride danced with her groom and her father to with a Hawaiian luau at Paradise Cove to follow. (officiant included in package)

M U S I C - The bride decided to have a live musician for her ceremony so we brought on the amazing Henry Makua who played a mix of songs for their ceremony.
